To blog or not to blog? That is the question. The question for all of us business owners, that is.
It’s worth it! Some say. What a waste of time! Shout the others.
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve found myself with some extra flexible time. I love writing. I love processing through ideas. So, I'll see what this blog thing can do for me, I thought.
Bonus, the experts say, it boosts SEO.
For a week, I blogged every day. (See the spikes in site visitors below.)
Numbers don’t lie. I have had more visitors to my site since blogging. However, I have not experienced any conversations. (Aka: inquiries from reading/visiting my blog.)
So worth it? Not worth? I don’t know.
What I do know is this: I like writing. Processing. Educating. Sharing information. So I will probably schedule blogging in a manageable way into my weekly routine. Probably not everyday.
And for you, I say: test the waters. Experiment. Stop if it’s not working. Keep going if you find it to be fun, inspiring, life-giving, even if you’re not raking in the dough.
